DOC ABRUZZES BLANC VAL DEI MOLINI SOAVE 2020
A Guide to the Soave Region
As the finest expression of one of Italy’s most famous white wines, Soave is a treat whether you’re pairing it to homemade pizzas or a charcuterie plate.
All of the fat that is mass-produced Soave has (theoretically) been trimmed away, and only the traditional best sites in the hilly region surrounding the village of Soave are scoured for grapes.
Italian wine law does like to confuse however and there are a few exceptions: a handful of vineyard sites outside the traditional Soave Classico zone are labelled “Soave Colli Scaligeri Superiore DOCG.” What you should know is that they are equally as tasty and worth seeking out.
ensure the wine is perfect, and ready for the uncorking by the time it finds its way to your dinner table.
Tasting Notes:
Peach, Honeydew, Citrus Zest, Sweet Marjoram, and a subtle note of saltiness. Soave is a dry, light-bodied wine, much like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Gris, but it often with a smooth oily like richness that adds a little extra punch.
A new wonderful new experience in white wine for Australian drinkers , a totally different taste. Refreshing light and truly enjoyable.

In Brief
Soave, the finest expression of one of Italy’s top white wine regions. Peach, Honeydew, Citrus Zest, Sweet Marjoram, and a subtle note of saltiness. It’s a dry, light-bodied wine, akin to Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Gris, with a smooth, oily richness. Customers comment, “As soon as it hit my mouth I was in ‘Soave’ heaven. Full-bodied, coating your mouth with sunshine and dry, with low acidity that almost makes you think it’s sweet.”
