Tasting notes:
It's just delicious, we enjoy very ripe fruit on raspberry with a nice sweetness, plum on a note of cocoa. The mouth is powerful, dense, aromatic, the perfect balance, long finish vibrant with red fruits and very fine tannins.
A small family Château, Trapaud extends over 15 hectares in one piece, which makes it an exception in the appellation. The vineyard is 45 to 100 years old and has been organic since 2010.
The last of the Larribière line is called Béatrice, she is the current winemaker in charge, and initiator of the implementation of natural methods.
Food Pairing:
Serve with all meat dishes and Poultry. Perfect with grilled food. Embellishes any meal.
THE WINE
The origin of this farm goes back to the 16th century.
The architecture of the main house of Danish origin in the vineyard remains unique in the region.
The average age of the vines is 40 years with some plots of land over 100 years old.
