Tasting Notes:

Clear yellow colour with green plays of light. It offers intense aromas of Citrus and wildflowers. Refreshing, complex and well balanced with fruit and tannins. Highly Recommended.

Food and wine pairing:

smoked fish, crab cakes, foie gras, roasted goose, pâté, and wild game Kangaroo..

Riesling is a light-skinned, aromatic grape of German origin which is – if the majority of top wine critics are to be believed – the world's finest white wine grape variety.

  • Numerous prizes have been won by this wine: the Concours General Agricole Paris awarded the 2011 vintage Gold and the Concours des Grands Vins de France Macon awarded Or.
  • This is above average in popularity for wines from Alsace. Greater numbers of users have been searching for this wine compared to a year ago.
  • A diverse array of wines are made by this producer including those from grapes Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, Muscat, Chardonnay - Pinot Blanc - Pinot Noir, and Silvaner.
  • Alsace, in the far north-eastern corner of France, stands out from other French wine regions thanks to its strong Franco-Germanic influences. These are the results of the region having switched back and forth between German and French sovereignty in recent centuries – and are evident not only in Alsatian architecture and culture, but also in the wines.
